Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) - Ottawa Local Network           Next Event

Welcome to the IET - Ottawa Local Network website.  The site as a whole is very much "Under Ongoing Construction".  However, the events schedule has been included so that you have the most up to date information on forthcoming events.  You can also click on the eventbrite links to find out more information about the events and register.   The Breaking News section is there to bring you snippets of news or details of events that we may have been invited to - and also for those of you that use RSS, to notify you as soon as any changes are made to the site.

The IET Ottawa Local Network has about 300 members in the Ottawa/Hull/Kingston area. The National Capital Region is the centre of high-tech in Canada, and many of our members work in communications, consumer electronics, the defence industry and the public service.  The IET - Ottawa Local Network offers a programme of  technical talks and visits throughout the year. These events can be enjoyed by IET members, their colleagues, members of other professional organisations and indeed any member of the general public. The IET - Ottawa Local Network is committed to providing engineering knowledge to as many people in the Ottawa Area as possible.

The IET  is one of the world’s leading professional societies for the engineering and technology community, with more than 150,000 members in 127 countries and offices in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
